KATHERINE ALEXIS THOMAS is a New York City - based actress, currently associated with Stewart Talent agency in Chicago, IL.
After doing her first local summer musical at the age of 7, in Kenosha, WI, Katherine found her calling in theatre. Throughout high school, she appeared on three MTI Student Edition concept recordings, including AIDA (Aida), RENT (Joanne), and SWEENEY TODD (Mrs. Lovett).
Katherine earned her BFA degree from The University of Michigan, and is a proud alumni of the Musical Theater Dept . She was presented with a “Performer in a Supporting Role” Joseph Jefferson Award for her performance as Sarah in RAGTIME, with Chicago’s Griffin Theatre, in 2017. The next year, she was nominated a second time, after reprising the role in Marriott Theatre’s production of RAGTIME. One of the most recent highlights of her career was performing as ‘Mary of Bethany’ in Rob Gardner’s LAMB OF GOD at The Metropolitan Opera House, in Spring of 2026.
Accruing over 20 years of experience in the world of musical theatre and performance, Katherine is currently a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association.
